HH Sheikh Nahyan Mubarak Al Nahyan inaugurates Eglise Evangélique d'Abu Dhabi

HH Sheikh Nahyan Mubarak Al Nahyan inaugurates Eglise Evangélique d'Abu Dhabi (French Evangelical Church of Abu Dhabi) at the Evangelical Church, Abu Dhabi.
His Highness Sheikh Nahyan Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research inaugurated the newest church of the Firm Foundation Ministries Worldwide (www.ffmw.org) - Eglise Evangélique d'Abu Dhabi marking a new season for the French speaking community in Abu Dhabi. The ceremony was attended by dignitaries including Ambassadors of different countries.
Pastor Michel Gallon & his wife Claudie, of the Eglise Evangélique d'Abu Dhabi welcomed the Minister in the opening address and thanked the rulers of the nation for their support. In his inaugural speech HH Sheikh Mubarak stressed that UAE has respect and tolerance for other faiths and was pleased that there was a new place of worship for the French speaking community of Abu Dhabi. He stressed that the true mark of success would be how well the church would be used to bring together members of the community and meet their social and spiritual needs, whilst integrating with the larger fabric of society.
Pastor Ashish Thomas, The President & Founder of The Firm Foundation Ministries Worldwide said "We are honored to have His Highness Sheikh Nahyan to inaugurate the Eglise Evangélique d'Abu Dhabi. Though UAE is in the Middle East, this is really like the Middle of the World where people from all over the globe come together in a melting pot of nationalities and cultures. Though far from their native lands, people are able to feel much more at 'home' in churches such as these. He also specially thanked the rulers and authorities in the UAE government for the security and safety, all residents enjoy here.
